UW Children's Hospital
Volunteered and partnered with a local restaurant to staff an event to benefit UW Children's Hospital.
DU x Gphi "Run for a Change"
Staffed a race for "Girls on the Run" and did our annual "0.1k" sprint from the Gamma Phi Beta house to the DU house. Created merchandise and donated the proceeds ($600) to "Girls on the Run," a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.
DU for the Turtles
Raised $3,500 for "Barrel Bag," a nonprofit committed to reducing the impact of plastic pollution that enters our ecosystems. Barrel Bag was founded by our brother, Tucker Grooms ’23.
MacTaggart's and DU
Partnered with MacTaggert’s Market & Deli on a fundraiser that sent a percentage of sales to a Madison company that cleans up Lake Mendota. MacTaggert’s has been a Langdon neighborhood tradition for more than 30 years.
UPCOMING ACTIVITIES - SPRING 2022
Donation team up with a State Street restaurant
Staff and host a buffet. Create and sell merchandise with proceeds going to victims of the Waukesha, Wisconsin, Christmas parade attack in November 2021.
